Terms of Service

1. Overview

Skill Shope ("we", "us", "the platform") is a registry and marketplace for AI skills, MCP servers, and agent configurations. By using Skill Shope, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must sign in via GitHub to publish skills, submit reviews, or make purchases. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Publishers

• You retain ownership of all skills, MCP servers, and configurations you list on Skill Shope.
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to display your listing (name, description, metadata) on the platform.
• You must have the right to distribute any content you list. Do not list content that infringes on others' intellectual property.
• Skill Shope does not host your artifacts — we link to external sources (GitHub, npm, etc.) that you provide.

4. Purchases & Payments

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We never handle or store your card information.
• Skill Shope charges a 15% platform fee on paid skill sales. Publishers receive 85% of the sale price via Stripe Connect.
• All sales are final. Refund requests should be directed to the publisher.

5. Content Policy

The following content is prohibited on Skill Shope:

• Malware, backdoors, or intentionally harmful code
• Skills designed to facilitate illegal activity, harassment, or abuse
• Spam, duplicate, or misleading listings
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Skills that collect user data without disclosure or consent
• Fake reviews or manipulated ratings

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates this policy and suspend the associated account.

6. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experience with the skill. You may not review your own skills. We may remove reviews that are abusive, spam, or otherwise violate our content policy.

7. Disclaimer

Skill Shope is a registry — we do not host, verify the functionality of, or guarantee the safety of listed skills. Install and use third-party tools at your own risk. We encourage you to review source code before installing any skill.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
